Terms and Conditions
Terms & ConditionsThese Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which PubLove willprovide accommodation and other products and services at its hostels toCustomers and Guests. By making a Booking the Customer agrees to comply withthese Conditions.
a. Customers can request Bookings via PubLove’swebsite or by contacting PubLove’s staff at the Hostel.
b. When requesting Bookings, Customers will berequired to provide identification information including, but not limited to,their name, address, contact telephone number and email address.
c. No request for a Booking should be deemed to beaccepted unless and until PubLove confirms its acceptance and provides abooking reference, at which point the Contract will come into existence.
d. PubLove will use its reasonable endeavours toaccommodate any request from the Customer to change the Booking Details but anyrequest to change the dates or length of stay or add products and/or serviceswill be subject to availability and the Customer paying for such increasedlength of stay and/or products and/or services at PubLove’s standard rates fromtime to time.
e. When booking beds in a shared room, PubLove willattempt to put people on the same booking in the same room, however this cannotbe guaranteed.
f. Our company policy is an individual reservationcannot be longer than 14 nights. A guest’s total number of nights in ourcompany MUST NOT EXCEED 28 nights. We are an International Backpackers Hostelgroup providing SHORT TERM Accommodation to guests NOT a long-term accommodationprovider. Any guest booking longer then this will have their bookingscancelled, without having the deposit refunded.
2. Fees & Payment
a. The Charges will be as quoted by PubLove to theCustomer upon the Customer’s request for a Booking.
b. Unless otherwise agreed by PubLove, the Chargesonly cover the provision of accommodation at the Hostel and the Customer mayincur additional charges including, without limitation, charges for meals, roomservice and wireless internet access (the “Additional Charges”).
c. Customers will be informed of the amount of theAdditional Charges before they are incurred.
d. Bookings will be subject to the Customer:
i. Making payment of the Charges in full in advanceor, at PubLove’s option, paying a booking fee and/or deposit; and providingvalid Debit or Credit Card details via which payment of the Charges or thebalance of the Charges (as the case may be) and any Additional Charges can betaken at check in at the hostel or at the time of booking.
e. If not prepaid in full at time of booking thebalance of the Charges must be paid by the Customer immediately on checking inat the Hostel. Any Additional Charges must be paid either as they are incurredor, at PubLove’s option, upon the Customer checking out at the Hostel.
f. The following payment methods are accepted byPubLove
i. Visa & MasterCard
ii. Visa & MasterCard debit
iii. Cash in Great British Pound Sterling (£ GBP)Only
a. The Customer may cancel the Booking withoutcharge if notice is given to PubLove at least 48 hours prior to 1400 hours(local time) on the Arrival Date. In which case PubLove will refund to theCustomer all sums paid by the Customer in advance.
b. Where the Customer has been offered a discountedrate on condition that the Booking becomes non-refundable upon cancellationthen, provided the Customer has been informed of such Condition, in the eventof cancellation of the Booking, all Charges applicable to that Booking remainpayable in full.
c. Where the Customer fails to give sufficientnotice of cancellation or fails to arrive (no show) at the Hostel, the entireBooking will be deemed cancelled and the Customer must pay the Hostel an amountequivalent to the Charges applicable to the first’ night’s stay at the Hostel.
d. PubLove may at any time cancel a Booking if theHostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside PubLove’s control inwhich case PubLove will pay the Customer a full refund of any Charges and anybooking fee paid.
e. PubLove may at any time cancel the Booking ifthe payment details provided by the Customer are invalid and the Customer failsto provide alternative valid details.
f. Guests already checked in to a hostel aresubject to 2 nights (48 hours) penalty charges for early departure.
g. Cancellations for all bookings made by a third-partyagent or online travel agent should be made through the site the originalbooking was made.
4. Check-in and checkout
a. Check-in time at the Hostel booked is from 1400hrs. If you arrive prior to 1400 hrs, you may store your luggage for free inour luggage storage room.
b. Every guest must present valid,government-issued photo ID upon check-in. Foreign nationals must have an EUIdentity Card or passport. There is a No ID, No Stay, No Exception policy. Nocopies, paper or electronic, are accepted. A student card or bank card is notaccepted as an ID.
c. We do not accept any guests under the age of 18years; minimum check-in age is 18 years.
d. A person under the age of 18 years cannot bechecked in even if accompanied by an adult.
e. Bookings made with multiple beds reserved musthave the total booking amount paid in full prior to any guests being givenaccess to bedrooms; part payment is not accepted.
f. Unlike some hostels we do not have an upper agelimit. Most of our guests arebackpackers in the 18 to 30 age range. Please be aware you may be assigned a top bunk.
g. We reserve the right to refuse the booking ofany guest who does not meet all of our terms & conditions.
h. Deposits are paid to our booking agents directlyand are non-refundable. You need tocontact the booking agent directly if you disagree with this policy.i. Check-out time at the Hostel booked is 1000 hrs.
j. Late check-out until 1200 hrs is available subjectto availability for a fee of £5.00 per person.
k. Departing guests must remove all of theirbelongings from their room, and checkout, by 1000 hrs. After this time guests may make use of theluggage storage facility, but all possessions must be removed from the room.
l. You may utilise the free luggage storage untilmidnight on your date of departure; after this time, you will need to removeyour belongings.
5. Hostel Rules
We have a clear eviction policy which is strictly enforced. Any guestevicted according to our policy will NOT receive any refund. You can view thiseviction policy on property. The comfort, safety and security of our guests and staff is of paramountimportance to PubLove. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff,compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or localresidents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offereda refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residentsand property. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that allmembers of their group behave in an acceptable manor. Failure of any individualgroup member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group.
a. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permittedanywhere within our property. Any guest found smoking within the building willbe asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. Asmoking area and ashtrays are provided outside the building for guests who wishto smoke.
b. PERSONAL PROPERTY: Guests may use theluggage storage however it remains the guest's responsibility to ensure thattheir personal belongings are secure at all times. PubLove accepts no liabilityfor the loss, theft or damage to property however sustained or caused.
c. LIQUOR LICENSE/ LICENSED PREMISES: Ourcompany has and operates licensed premises at all of our PubLove Hostels, assuch you are not permitted to bring alcohol onto or consume alcohol notpurchased at our licensed premise on our property. Our staff will confiscateany alcohol which will be returned to you on your departure from our hostel.
d. FOOD: No food is allowed in to thehostel, whether purchased at the hostel or from any other outlet. Our staff will confiscate any food which willbe returned to you on your departure from our hostel.
e. DAMAGE TO OUR PROPERTY: You will beexpected to reimburse PubLove for any damage caused by in-appropriate behaviourduring your stay.
Essential informationfor guests.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: PubLove strongly recommends that atthe time of your booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to coveritems including but not limited to: loss of booking amount throughcancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medicalexpenses. We do not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen property.
YOUR INFORMATION: PubLove shall only store and useinformation you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes ofcarrying out our contract with you, and to inform you of other services andoffers which we make available from time to time. If you do not wish to receivesuch information, please let us know by emailing us at: email@example.com.
LIABILITY: Except in relation to death or personalinjury caused by our negligence PubLove liability remains, at all times,limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment chargespaid to us.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS: Any omission or error in salesliterature, web pages or site, order form, quotation, price list, orderacknowledgement, despatch note, invoice or other document issued by us may becorrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at thetime of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.
DISCRETION: All bookings are subject to availabilityand PubLove reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
GROUPS: Groups of 10 guests or more are subject toseparate terms & conditions.
LOCKERS:Lockers are available for your laptop and smaller sized items. It is YOURresponsibility to ensure that your personal belongings are secure at all times.PubLove accept no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guest’s property,however caused. We strongly recommend you use a padlock on your luggage duringyour stay.
